Volunteer with us
Our active and vibrant volunteer base is living proof of our robust local community. Whatever their passion or skillset, our ‘vollies’ are proud to support the wellbeing of our residents.
Our very own Good Shepherds are integrated into the breadth of our daily activities, taking on roles that improve residents’ access to companionship, exercise and the great outdoors.
Whether taking our residents on scenic buggy rides, assisting in our fitness classes and cafe, or acting as ‘memory buddies’ to our residents with dementia, our volunteers are a vital part of our community.
We are always looking for volunteers in the following areas:
- visitors and companions
- wheelchair walks along the river
- activities assistants
- musicians and choirs
- art and craft
- Cafe
- Chaplain Assistants
- if you enjoy cards, board games jig saws, mah-jong and chess players
